Our vision is to create communities of extraordinarily ordinary people who are
Perth Psychology Collective
It’s pretty common to be asked, ‘why do you do what you do?’ And for each of us in the collective, we have our own unique reason. But there is undoubtedly a common theme.
Put simply, we want to help people find ‘wellbeing’.
Mental health difficulties are on the rise and they don’t discriminate according to gender, age, ethnicity, education or socioeconomic status.

Diversity and Inclusion
Perth Psychology Collective respectfully acknowledge that we work on Aboriginal land and we pay our respects to community members and Elders, past and present.
We are committed to embracing diversity and eliminating all forms of discrimination in the provision of our services. We welcome all people irrespective of ethnicity, lifestyle choice, faith, sexual orientation and gender identify.
We want to ensure everyone who needs mental health support is able to access the right service and receive the help they need. While our premises is an old building without wheelchair access, we offer Telehealth services. Further, we have experience using Interpreter services and should this be required can do so at the client’s expense.

We are Accessibility Friendly
Unfortunately our premises are upstairs and in an old building without wheelchair access. Should you wish to receive psychological counselling, we are happy to offer our services via Telehealth.

Join PPC today as we celebrate National Pyjama Day in our Pj’s!
#InMyPJs
National Pyjama day was created to help raise awareness and funds for children in foster care as due to various factors associated with the nature of being a foster care child, development and education are typically impacted. This is reflected in their poor outcomes as the lowest performing educational group.
How will this fundraiser help?
The Pyjama Foundation provides a Love of Learning Program, employing mentors to support kids in foster care. Mentors are supplied with training kits consisting of educational resources such as books, activities, games and puzzles. Mentors will visit once a week to check-in on how each child is doing and engage in a way that facilitates inspiration and a positive learning environment.
To support these amazing mentors to assist a child in need please click on the link in our story to make a donation or alternatively, if you’re in the area you’re welcome to pop in to say hello to our friendly reception team and contribute a gold coin into our donation box.

For everyone, trauma or not, adult or child, masks may increase our anxiety. They are a very visible sign that things are not normal and that COVID poses a very real threat.
Our practitioner, Kate Maassen, has written a short post about how wearing a mask can feel for some, what to do if it's causing you stress, and how to react to 'that lady' in the supermarket.
Check out the link in our bio.
The Perth Psychology Collective team will still be here to continue sessions. Due to restrictions and in order to make sure we are keeping our staff and clients as safe as possible; all appointments will be conducted via telehealth.

Our clinical psychologist, April Kane, will be answering some questions and raising awareness about the mental health challenges, and the role that sport and exercise can play in achieving positive mental health outcomes, particularly for young people in the community 🏄♀️🚴⚽
Throughout the month of October, members of the Perth Psychology Team have walked over 350km in solidarity for people in Australia living with mental illness. We have exceeded our goal of $2000, so thankyou too all that participated and donated. We are so happy to be doing our bit to help this wonderful cause - and getting some exercise in the process!
